Laser Vein Ablation

LASER ABLATION is a procedure performed often in a plastic surgeon's office to treat hemangiomas or other vascular proliferative lesions, usually known as "spider veins" or "birth marks".  The laser is a device that produces an intense but gentle burst of light, directed at the lesion.  In most cases, one treatment will not be enough to produce adequate results, and this is not a treatment recommended for larger, varicose veins.
